HELPFUL HINTS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING

Getting married?

One Helpful Hint we can offer now is to choose your wedding gown carefully. Insist that any trim on your gown be guaranteed DRY CLEANABLE.

Manufacturers have available to them many serviceable beads, lace and sequins and it should cost no more to have quality trims selected for your gown. These trims should also be SEWN DOWN and NOT glued-on and although you will probably pay more for this service, it will avoid considerable expense and possible problems later. If the cost
of hand-sewing the trim work on your gown is too prohibitive, insist that a durable DRY CLEANABLE glue be used. Careful selection of these trims now will assure you of satisfactory results when we dry clean your wedding gown.

AFTER YOUR WEDDING

Your wedding gown should be brought to us IMMEDIATELY after your wedding for RESTORATION and hopefully, PRESERVATION. The reason for this is that any stains and there will be some, will not have the chance to SET, possibly ruining your new gown. Also, alerting us as to the type and locations of stains will help us in our highly specialized attempt to return your gown to you in it's "like-new' condition.
